Case Study – Temporary flexible hoseline for Yarra Valley Water
Yarra Valley Water had significant issues with the renewal and maintenance of under ground pipes for potable water supply.
The cost of reconnecting to minimize customer inconvenience was simply getting out of hand, with overtime and the time taken to reconnect each night and disconnect each morning. Continual interruptions to the work flow. The issue was finding a solution without impacting customer service.
Yarra Valley Water approached Crusader Hose and in conjunction developed the Pureline system using the Waterlord 300 series hose for temporary bypass.
This system incorporates wire whipping of fittings (link) standardised lengths,"T" fittings and required hose to connect premises directly to the bypass hose.
Potable water is now delivered to customers without maintenance interruption, in an efficient and cost effective method.
