All in all, the lay-flat hose once again proved itself as a successful alternative for sewerage pumping when poly-pipe cannot be used.

I find it to be the most efficient, time saving and cost-effective riser main available. The product is very easy to handle, transport, install and retrieve and I do not have an issue with hose stretch. I use Flexibore® as my riser of choice as I find the product to be at the top of the market and the company to be one of the easiest and most approachable that I have dealt with in my 29 years.

I have found the Flexidrag® irrigation hose to be the best I've used in my many years of farming. It has excellent resistance to abrasive conditions, can withstand extreme weather conditions, and is very low maintenance.

In order to maintain a flow of water into the bore, the pumps need to be extracted every 18 months and the bores cleared using a high-pressure wash. Flexibore® assisted in making the servicing easy due to the fact that the pumps can be pulled out from 247m deep in less than 3 hours. There are no sections of pipe to unscrew as the hose is made in one continuous length.
