Petroline® HP
High-Pressure Hose Engineered for Fuel Transfer
Petroline HP is designed for temporary fuel transfer over long distances in remote or high-risk environments without the need for repumping stations. It helps military, disaster relief, emergency response, mining, and construction teams achieve safe and efficient fuel delivery in harsh conditions by reducing the risk of hose failure due to shock loads, extreme environments, and high tensile stress. Its high burst pressure, anti-static wire, 4:1 safety factor, and robust construction enable greater reliability, mobility, and mission readiness. Lightweight, flexible, and compact, Petroline is easy to transport and deploy—helping users save space, minimise risk, and maintain fuel flow with confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs
Petroline, developed by Crusader Hose, is a specialised layflat hose designed for the safe transfer of fuels and chemicals in high-risk environments such as mining, defence, and bulk fuel logistics. Its sturdy construction and integrated safety features make it a reliable solution for operations where dependability is essential—such as ship-to-shore debunkering remote mining sites, and military fuel distribution.
When flammable liquids flow through a hose, the friction caused by the flow can lead to static electricity buildup. If not properly dissipated, this accumulation can cause sparks, which pose a significant fire or explosion risk, especially in hazardous environments like fuel depots or underground mining operations.
To prevent ignition hazards, Petroline incorporates a built-in stainless steel anti-static wire that:
- Extends the full length of the hose
- Is earthed at each coupling to maintain electrical continuity
- Safely dissipates static charges, protecting operators and equipment
This feature is essential for maintaining compliance with safety standards and ensuring safe fuel handling in hazardous zones.
Petroline® is designed for durability and ease of use, offering:
- A high-pressure rating with a 4:1 factor of safety
- UV-stabilised thermoplastic polyurethane cover for long-term outdoor exposure
- Abrasion and chemical resistance for harsh environments
- Lightweight and compact design for easy transport and deployment
- Compliance with AS2683 Section 2 and AS2001.28 standards
- Manufactured under ISO 9001 quality assurance
